The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County has been serving our community for decades, working tirelessly to ensure that no one in our county goes hungry. What started as a simple food distribution operation has evolved into a comprehensive nutrition security organization.
Today, we distribute millions of pounds of food annually through our network of over 200 nonprofit partners. But we don't just provide food – we're transforming lives through nutrition education, community resilience programs, and innovative approaches to ending hunger.
Our nationally recognized programs have won awards from Feeding America, and our model of combining food distribution with nutrition education is being adopted by food banks across the country.
